Privacy policy
Short version: we collect what you type into our form so we can reply to you. We do not sell anything to anyone, and we never build a profile of you.
What we collect
The only personal information we collect is what you choose to send us. We also count visits, anonymously; see How we count visits below. If you fill in the form on our Get started page, that is your name, your business name, your email address, your phone number, the kind of business you run, what you would like handled, and anything you write in the description box. We also record which page you were on when you sent it, and how you found us, for example through a Google ad.
If you call us or email us instead, we have whatever you tell us in that call or message.
We do not ask for payment details on this website, and there is nowhere on this website to enter them.
Why we collect it
To write back to you with what we would build and what it would cost, and to keep working with you if you decide to go ahead. That is the only reason.
What we do not do
This site has no advertising pixels, no session recording and no retargeting, and nobody is following you around the internet because you read this page.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not add you to a marketing list because you enquired. If you ask us a question and decide not to go ahead, you will not hear from us again unless you get in touch.
How we count visits
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read, where they arrived from, how far down a page they scroll, which buttons they tap, how far through the Get started form they get, and whether they sent it. It never sees what you type, and we do not record your screen. It sets cookies in your browser so it can tell one visit from the next. It does not tell us who you are. We connect it to our Google Ads account for one purpose: to count which visits from our ads ended in a sent form. We do not use it to show you ads, and it does not follow you to other sites.
Google processes that data under its own privacy policy. You can block it with your browser’s cookie settings, or with Google’s opt-out add-on.
Who else sees it
A handful of services help us run the site and reply to you. Each one only sees what it needs to do its job:
- Render hosts this website and the small server that receives your form, which alerts us on our phone.
- Google Analytics counts visits, as described under How we count visits, and tells our Google Ads account which ad visits ended in a sent form.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces this site uses. Loading a font makes a request to Google, which means Google can see your IP address. Between them these are the only third parties this site contacts while you read it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries while we are talking to you, and for as long as we are working together afterwards. If you ask us to delete what we hold on you, we will, and we will confirm when it is done.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@taskcaddy.io or call (779) 252-7112 and we will sort it out. There is no form and no ticket number.
Children
This site is for business owners. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date below. We are not going to bury a change in an email you never open.
